About Marketcap.info
A clean, fast reference for the market value of the world’s largest companies — updated every trading day.
What we do
Marketcap.info ranks the world’s most valuable public companies by market capitalization — the total market value of a company’s outstanding shares. For every company we track, you’ll find its current market cap, share price, 24-hour change, trading volume, sector and industry classification, a market-cap history chart, and a plain-language company profile.
You can browse the global ranking, explore companies by country, or jump straight to any company with the search box in the header.
Where the data comes from
Prices, market capitalizations and trading volumes are sourced from established financial market data providers that aggregate official exchange data, and are refreshed every trading day. Values for companies listed outside the United States are converted to U.S. dollars at current exchange rates so that all rankings are directly comparable.
Market capitalization is calculated as the share price multiplied by the number of outstanding shares. For a small number of notable private companies, such as SpaceX, we display the most recent widely reported valuation instead; these entries are clearly marked as Private and carry no live price data.
